Important: Advisory for Indian passport holders:  

As per Resolution 353/2025 dated 28 August, 2025, Ministry of the Interior of the  Government of Republic of Argentina, Indian citizens who hold a valid and current U.S.  tourist visa [B2] may enter Argentina for tourism purposes without a consular visa or  an electronic travel authorization (AVE/ETA), with a maximum stay of 90 days.  

Indian citizens who don't hold a valid and current U.S. tourist visa still need to  apply for a consular visa to enter the country as tourists. Under Argentine Law,  transitory visas (such as tourist visas) can be applied for in any Argentine consulate  worldwide. 

Applicants who are holding a valid and current U.S. tourist visa, but are  entering the country for any purpose other than tourism, must necessarily apply for  the corresponding consular visa.
