6th CII Smart Manufacturing Summit and Exhibition

Industry 4.0 - Shaping Manufacturing for the New Normal

Unleashing the potential of the MSMEs

09-12 November 2020, CII HIVE

CII is organizing the sixth edition of CII Smart Manufacturing Summit from 9 - 12^th November virtually. The theme of the summit is “Industry 4.0: Shaping Manufacturing for the New Normal - Unleashing the potential of the MSMEs” and is being organized in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Plattform Industrie 4.0, Germany.

The weeklong programme will broadly cover the aspects of low cost and affordable co-development of technology with International partnerships, deliberate on creating a technology facilitation platform for the MSMEs at subsidized rates and conclude with some key takeaways on the action points that could be addressed by Government to promote technology adoption by MSMEs.

The summit highlights are :

1. Two Plenary Sessions – 09^th – Inaugural Session – Summit & 12^th– German Day

2. Four Panel discussions

a) “Data as the Cornerstone for Digital Manufacturing” In Association with Microsoft India

b) Indian manufacturing: Bringing the digital revolution to the globe” In Association with Rockwell Automation India

c) ‘Robotics as an Accelerator for USD 1 trillion Manufacturing Economy”

d) Making Industry 4.0 Work for Self - Reliant India – international perspectives and best practices" In association with UNIDO

3. Two International Experience sessions with Germany –

-Plattform Industrie 4.0 – Creating a worldwide impact through shaping the digital transformation in manufacturing

-The Vision of GAIA-X: A European Federated Data Infrastructure

4. Four key note sessions with case study presentations by SAP, Hitachi Vantara, Omron & PTC

5. Five Masterclasses : BLP Group and BLP Industry.AI, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Local Global GmbH( Global Business Magazine) , Bosch Rexroth and Rockwell

6. Two Virtual tours – Digital Transformation Experience Centre by Rockwell Automation & SAP Experience Centre, Singapore
