Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children
Ministry of External Affairs is executing Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children (SPDC scheme) for pursuing undergraduate courses.
Scholarships are given to children of PIO/NRIs, children of workers working in ECR countries studying in India
The partial financial assistance to the extent of 75% of the total institutional economic cost (IEC) subject to a maximum of $ 4500 per annum would be borne by the Government of India under this scheme.
